The Challenges
Throughout history, man has fought contamination and pestilence through the use of technologies: pasteurization of milk, pesticides in farming, chlorine in drinking water. Over the past 30 years there has been growing recognition of the shortcomings and, in some cases, the hazards of conventional decontamination technologies and chemicals.

We Take Coolants Seriously
In response to these challenges, Triton Thalassic Technologies, Inc. (T3I) was founded in 1994 with the broad theme of bringing advanced technologies to bear on fluid contamination problems. These problems exist in industries large and small (from contaminated metalworking fluids in the automotive and aerospace industries, to rinse water in dental offices) and extend to the basics of consumer drinking water systems.

Alternative Technologies
Conventional treatment regimens for each of these situations involve chemical additives or pesticides. Given the adverse impact of these biocides and pesticides on the environment and the hazardous byproducts they create, virtually all stakeholders in these industries want to reduce the use of chemical treatment and are looking for improved alternative technologies. T3I is convinced that there is a better technological solution; something safer, more efficient or more precise in treating the problem.
